Koi Fish

The vibrant colours work so well in this piece. By keeping the colours simple you really made the koi look more striking against the cool blue of the background.

I love the detail in the scale, most people usually have a lot of issues involving the scales to tail size ratio. But you managed to do an amazing job. My only two issues are with the bottom right fin and the scales at the end of the tail.

The bottom fin looks a little sloppy and dark compared to the other fins the final scales look rushed and cramped. By spending the final few moments of the piece detailing the final scales it can really add to the whole of the piece.
